The National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) was established as an autonomous agency on March 30, 2000 to manage the pension and provident fund schemes of civil servants, state-owned corporation and armed forces. On 1 July 2002, the Government formally launched the National Pension and Provident Fund Plan (NPPFP) through the Executive Order to provide income security to the members on retirement and permanent disability. It also provides social support to the family members in the event of demise of a member while in service or after retirement.

1. Vacancy and Career opportunities in January 2021

The National Pension & Provident Fund is pleased to announce the following vacancies in

  • Monthly Rent and Occupancy: Nu. 27,720/- from 1st February and Nu. 7,700/- from 1st March 2021, Nu. 11,495/- & 7,050/- & 9,815/- Nu. 11,495/-, and 7,050/- from 1st February 2021. Nu.9,815/- from 1st March 2021.
  • Applicant and/ or Spouse: Not a tenant of Public Housing Unit.

  • Copy of CIB reports (Both Licensee and Business)
  • Copy of tenancy agreement with previous landlord.

  • Position Title: Security Guard, Phuentsholing
  • Vacancy Publish date: 02 December 2020

  • Total Number of vacant post: 2
  • Grade and Salary: GSP
  • Eligibility: Nil, however, age should be 30 to 50 years old at the time of application.
  • Minimum no. of work experience: 10 years as armed forced personnel
  • Employment: Contract for 1 year which may be renewed annually based on performance and need.

The last date for application submission to NPPF is on or before 23rd December 2020. Please contact HRD @ 02-335096 during office hours for any enquiries or clarifications. Interested Bhutanese candidates meeting the above criteria shall submit the following latest and valid documents on or before the deadline:

  1. Filled NPPF job Application form; (Click here for Job Application Form)
  2. Latest signed resume;
  3. Hard copies of Academic Documents and training certificates if any;
  4. Hard copy of CID;
  5. Hard copy of medical fitness certificate for employment with a validity of one year from the date of issue;
  6. Hard copy of the RBP security clearance:
  7. Hard copy of Royal Audit Authority (RAA) Clearance Certificate for candidates with work experience requirement, wherever applicable only;
  8. Hard copy of recommendation letter from two referees (Current or past employers) for candidates with work experience requirement;
  9. Hard copy of certified documents to support total number of years of work experience and position(s) held along with duration as per requirement given above; and
  10. Hard copy of any other documents and testimonials, as may be applicable to the vacancy.
